The Georgia Data Analytics Center (GDAC) was established by House Bill 197 (2019 session) to build a centralized data hub for Georgia. GDACs objective is to make timely access to accurate data available to policymakers, budget directors, researchers, state agencies and departments; and provide data transparency and accountability within the state. GDAC has established a data governance committee and formalized several state agency data partnerships and data sharing agreements.

Since Governor Kemp signed an Executive Order  in 2023 directing GDAC to facilitate global data exchange processes between the state executive agencies and departments. GDAC has conducted  data-sharing agreements (DSA) collection annually. GDAC has about 85+ DSA collected from agencies, making over 100 DSA’s accessible to agencies on our internal SharePoint. GDAC’s goal is to make timely access to accurate data available to GA policymakers, budget directors, researchers, state agencies and departments.
